Membership in the Centerport Garden Club
Join Us!

Whether you're an experienced gardener or just beginning your gardening journey, or you simply enjoy spending time with people who share a love of nature, we'd love to welcome you to the Centerport Garden Club.

Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and interests. Some are passionate about horticulture, others enjoy floral design, conservation, photography, garden tours, or simply learning something new each month. Whatever your experience level, you'll find a friendly community eager to share ideas, inspiration, and a few gardening tips along the way.

Membership is open to everyone—you do not need to live in Centerport to join. There are many ways to get involved. Throughout the year, members enjoy opportunities such as:

--Civic beautification projects

--Caring for the beautiful Vanderbilt Rose Garden

--Conservation and environmental initiatives

--Community plant sales

--Garden tours, both local and in members' own gardens

--Horticulture and gardening workshops

--Floral design workshops and flower shows

--Holiday decorating and seasonal workshops

--Volunteer projects with veterans, children, and other community groups

--Fun social gatherings and special events

These activities are typically scheduled on weekdays throughout the year.

Our general membership meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, March through December, primarily during the day, with occasional evening or Zoom meetings. Each meeting features an engaging guest speaker, a delicious lunch prepared by our members, and the opportunity to bring horticultural specimens from your own garden to share and have judged.

If you're looking to learn, make new friends, give back to the community, and enjoy everything gardening has to offer, we'd love to meet you!
