Dedicated to the Dirt

My husband and I have nurtured our plot at the Robert M. Kubecka Memorial Organic Community Garden, at the intersection of Dunlop and Greenlawn Road in Huntington, for over a decade. He does the vegetables and I do the flowers, but together we are dedicated to the dirt. Recently we discovered it is better to stake the plants rather than cage them. Our motto is to "Stay ahead of the Weeds!" You'll easily locate our
plot at B-4 as the wheelbarrow is labeled and we don't have a fence!
