The spotted lanternfly (SLF) is an invasive pest from Asia that primarily feeds on tree of heaven but also feeds on grapevines, hops, maple, walnut, fruit trees and more.  It could impact our forests and devastate our agricultural and tourism industries.  If you spot it, the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation is asking you to send photos to spottedlanternfly@agriculture.ny.gov  Then, kill it!
